  This store's customer service on the phone is non-existent, you can connect to one of their 3 departments but then end up waiting....and waiting...and waiting till it rings off saying everyone is too busy to be bothered by you, or so it should say because I have driven there in less time than it takes to connect to a person, just to see they're not busy at all! Or if I do eventually connect to another department than I originally wanted because I've not ben answered 20minutes and 2 phone calls later, they then very helpfully connect to to the same number you've just told them is not bothering to answer you....can you see how circular/defeating this process is...and it is very consistently the case. So yes, if you have waay too much time on your hands, are close to death and want that extra incentive to book yourself into dignitas, then give this company a call. They'll at the very least motivate you enough to leave a similar glowing review.

  A good range of products at competitive prices in a large store. Also quite easy to search for what you need on handy computer screens; you just put your number plate in and the part you need. They also offer an instant fitting service which is not too expensive and is also efficient and effective. A little impersonal perhaps.

  The Halford mechanics are Rip Off Scam Artists - do not trust them. This place is running a scam. The mechanic makes up the charges, which is often double the price advertised. They are not honest in their dealings do not trust the mechanic there to do any fitting service advertised, you will be ripped off.

  One of the largest Halfords stores, this is situated on two floors. The top floor is dedicated to cycling and is accessed by a small lift or via the staircase. Customers can test ride bicycles around the displays to get an idea of whether they like it or not. The larger ground floor contains everything else, and is fully accessible at street level. There is free parking outside. I have used this store a lot over the years. I've found the staff helpful, and if they can't answer my question, can usually find a more experienced staff member to help. This time I had a click and collect item to pay for. I was served quickly, and the lady was cheerful and friendly. I find it very good for parts and accessories, and will be going here again in future.
