::Whilst it is understandable that a water activity can be cancelled should the conditions prove to be unsafe, the manner in which our cancelled outing was handled was pathetic. On our arrival our group was taken to one side and told that the rafting was cancelled due to the weather and that they had tried to contact us. We had no evidence of any missed phone calls nor email so we asked for our money back or at the least evidence that we would get our money back. After some back and forth we were told that we would be sent an email now to say we would get our money back. 10 minutes later we were told we had received the email. The email said our session would be rearranged, not what we had asked for as we are not from the area and can't just pop back for a rearranged session. More talk and a new email was going to be sent saying we were going to get our money back. 10 minutes pass again and a new email has been sent saying someone will contact us to "Discuss options" in the following week, with no hint of reimbursement. At this point an argument breaks out as the staff at the facility refuse to provide any sort of indication that we will receive a refund for our rafting session, nor any notification that our session had been cancelled by them with no prior notification. Not even a receipt. Things descend even further as the staff try to defend their point by saying they had emailed us before our arrival which was an outright lie. By this stage our return taxi had arrived and we left very angry. Our group out of pocket by £40 for taxis and near £200 for the rafting. Now we were supposed to be contacted by the booking manager today about the cancellation and we have yet not received any contact and just feel like we've been scammed of our money. Very disappointed with this outcome as we were excited by all the positive reviews the rafting receives. Note that the website says nothing about any ownership for NWSC cancellations.

::Wow, amazing I’m lost for words..🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I have been at various gyms for years but I have to say from the likes of Nuffield, Virgin Gym etc, Holme Pierrepont is absolutely amazing, ticks all the boxes. Michael (manager) is so understanding, he’s a great guy and makes you feel part of the Gym. He has a great management team. I couldn’t fault this gym. If you’re looking for results this is the gym for YOU. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Also Tom (personal trainer) is highly recommended, he pushes, motivates also willing to help no matter how busy he is. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

::What a fantastic place for a day out , Me & my wife went here with our daughter/granddaughters +two of there friends who did the total wipe out . It looked fantastic. Also they had got white water rapid contest on.

::Had an awesome day here white water rafting. Definitely recommend going in the summer evenings. Our experience was at 6pm on a Saturday and it was the perfect weather and beautiful place. We all got absolutely soaked and a few of us lost our grip and fell in but we always felt safe and they really looked after us. Everyone was laughing all evening, even Coops who fell in twice. Wetsuits are provided you just need to take some old shoes you don't mind getting wet, showers etc afterwards. 10x more fun than i expected and Aaron our guide was awesome. I'll definitely go back again, I just can't believe i've never been before and I only live 40 minutes away. Thanks Aaron!
