  Good sized room, comfy beds and great location. Shower wouldn't get hot and some of the room needed a refurb (stained carpet and tiles in bathroom). Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

  Good central spot and very clean hotel. Rooms are good but bathroom/shower room a bit on the small side and I'm not even that big!! Gets marked down because it was undergoing major renovations when I was there. Be interesting to see how these improvements benefit the hotel. Good hotel for concerts at the Arena next door.

  It's a good hotel for beds and cleanliness, location is great. Only the meals let it down really bad if they're busy. The hotel prices are over the top if there's an event but you can get a reasonable price if you pick and choose i cant due to yearly conference. My first 3 day stay price is per night now and I got breakfast included. Can't afford here this year.

  This was our second visit to this hotel for over Christmas. We won’t be coming again! The first time, the rooms, food etc was great, this time we had to complain twice about the rooms. We paid for an upgrade for the 2 nights we was staying. The first room was dirty... I had to get the house keeper to clean the toilet because it was filthy. Then I had to complain at the reception because the tv wouldn’t work, the carpets had filthy stains and the dust in the rooms were so bad, oh and the worst thing... the bottom sheet had stains on them, I didn’t notice that till the day after. For a jury’s Inn we were quite disgusted of the standard of the rooms. There were a couple of other things as well. So nope, won’t stay there again

  We attended a Christmas party night at the hotel. The food was not what I expected the starter was very nice but the trimmings on the Christmas dinner were somewhat lacklustre but with a very generous portion of meat and the cocktail sausages were fabulous. The desert was revolting i had chocolate torte which seemed to be filled with salt. The drinks at the bar were quite expensive as all the mixers where bottled so nothing was on draft. A double vodka and coke cost £9.45 whereas at the other bar a double vodka and coke and a single vodka and coke was only £12.50 but you were not allowed to take drinks out of the bar to where the function was. All in all it was a good night but I feel that it could have been so much better with a bit more effort and without trying to rip off customers forcing them to pay more by not providing draft facilities at the bar.
