Just disappointed. I wanted to exchange shoe laces, but wouldn't take it back due to being opened. Surely, the package can be taped back and re sell it for a lower price than the original. I usually go to him to cut my keys , which he does a good job . But no help on shoe laces department when it came to an exchange. Fair enough, just disappointed on the customer service, I was expecting better since being a local business in the area.

They wanted a minimum of £13 to change a watch battery! Just ordered two off of Amazon for £1.46. For the two minutes it took me to pop the back off of the watch, get the battery out to get the markings from it, and then put it all back together again until the battery is delivered, this seems like an awful rip off, I would have said a fiver tops! I suppose this is London!!!

Excellent quality and speed of service! I have been going to Mr Craftsman for several years now and think that the quality of shoe repair and key cutting is the best in the area. My shoes always look pristine and are ready before I need them. I have always had excellent service here and will continue to return.

Subject: I paid for nothing. My advice is: be cleverer than me and don't take your watch to "Mr Craftsman" I brought my watch because it needed repairing, it would stop and start for no reason. I informed the man it wasn't a problem with the battery that I had just had replaced. The man started by saying that he thought it was a wind up clock. I repeated that it had a battery that I had replaced anyway. I don't know much about watch, but I do know that if it says Quartz on it, it is battery operated. I guess I should not have left my watch with someone who doesn't know anything or doesn't listen but he said he would send it out to a repairman and call me back so I thought I could trust the other "expert" who would look into it. Two weeks later, I had received no news so I called back. The man said he had replaced the battery himself and it was now working fine. I argued that it wasn't the problem. He insisted the watch was working again. He made me pay £25 and lo and behold, 6 hours later, the watch stopped working. I came back to complain, he said that he could send it to the repairman this time and deduct the £25 from the repair cost. I agreed to it (maybe another mistake but I wanted to trust him). Two weeks later he called me saying it would cost £100 (£125 minus £25 I had already paid). I said no thanks and took it to another repairman who repaired it for £60.
