  Stayed here after being stranded in Durham for work purposes, nice and clean room, bed is amazingly comfortable, food in the restaurant was nice too, breakfast buffet was decent with good choices available. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall happy with the stay!

  In an excellent location right in the heart of the main city centre, just a few staircases away from the theatre and tons of restaurants and shops! The rooms are nice and comfy with relatively good (and free!) Wi-Fi, the staff are always friendly and your room is all set up to brew a cup of tea as soon as you enter. The property does not have parking though.. there is a lot across the street but it is a tad expensive, so I would definitely recommend staying here, but coming a bit earlier to scoop out some other parking spaces :)

  Had a great stay. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast. There was a good selection and I was told about items that were available on request (quorn sausage etc) without having to ask.

  I love the value and consistently high standards of Premier Inns, so it was a no-brainer for me to book two nights in Durham City Centre at the end of October this year. It surpassed my high expectations. As always, the room was clean and spacious, but the public areas were also beautifully appointed and very inviting. The location was fabulous, within easy walking distance of the station, and all the attractions of beautiful Durham were also an easy walk away. Best of all, though, was the staff. All were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. In particular, the assistant manager, whose name was Robbie, I think (apologies if I have that wrong) went out of his way to answer my questions. Management at Durham City Premier Inn seem to set a high standard for all staff. My visit was thoroughly enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to other travellers. Definitely 10 out of 10.

  Have stayed here numerous times and always clean and comfortable rooms. Staff always friendly, helpful and professional. It is an excellent location and would definitely recommend. We stay in a disabled room and it is a decent adapted room! Bar staff brilliant but have never had breakfast here so can't comment.
