  This place is filthy, I can not understand why swim hats are not mandatory. I mentioned this to the reception staff and was told “well in France the pools are so filthy they have to wear hats, unlike English pools which are much cleaner” what? Firstly that is not answer luckily I am also not French as that could have been quite the insult, but seriously there is hair on everything even after I shower I am pulling hair (not mine) off me it’s everywhere. I love to swim, I have been coming to the Prince Regent since January but there are very questionable stains on the changing room walls that have been there since I started swimming here in January. There are empty coffe cups and water bottles lying around the pool, ‘life Guards’ wearing there filthy trainers in the pool area. I am a member with Freedom Leisure and I do like the Withdean Gym but the P.R is so filthy I simply can not go back.

  Amazing Aqua Aerobics classes, friendly staff (not servile, which seems to upset some people). The customers make a mess, they leave nappies out, put hair balls on the walls, do not clean up cubicles after themselves, the world we live in I am afraid, but the staff do clean often, they do the best they can. I wish they would more strictly enforce the 'no lane swimming' in the open swim lanes, because, again, inconsiderate people just do what they want.

  The location is very good, the swimming pool is sometimes overcrowded and the gym is rather small. Sauna and steaming room are OK but the people who use it are often loud and disturbing other people who want to relax. The changing room could be more clean. It could improve a lot and I don't think it's good value for money but unfortunately in Brighton there is not many other options and I'll have to keep going there if I want to take a sauna after using the swimming pool.

  Good customer service however, some of the staff are really rude and make my friend and I feel unwelcome, not impressed. The facilities, eg the swimming pool and gym are very good but whenever I try to enter with my membership card, it always says it’s suspended when I’ve paid it every month on time even when the direct debit won’t work. Absolutely appalling.

  Left my phone at the pool. The staff retrieved it quickly. This is why I love Prince regent pool, the staff are great. Sure the showers might be cold occasionally. It might be busy at 530. But that's forgotten when you hit the water. They're also really passionate about teaching kids and adults to swim too. Ive been coming for nearly 14 years, and don't think I'll ever stop.....
