  This hotel was built in the Victorian era and has never left it. It is so tired and outdated. The rooms are very poor and the general hotel is in great need of a complete refurbished. It's cheap but not cheerful. Never again.

  Once a grand old lady now more of an old bag lady with requisite miasmas .an elegant building now leaky and rotting. Rooms clean bathrooms mouldy. Food not bad at all with a splendid breakfast. Entertainment so bad its good! Nice staff. You pays your money you takes your choice.

  Cannot believe how awful this hotel is. When you see the name Savoy you immediately think up market. Anything but. Noisy, staff rude particularly the bar staff, needs upgrading. Good job we came when there was an offer on so didn't pay that much. Will never come back even if offer on 4 free board & lodgings. Totally disgusting.

  Don't expect modern! Want historical this is the place rooms are clean spacious just dated which is all part of the character of the building! Breakfast is great! We will stay there again

  It smelt gorgeous and room service excellent . Clean sheets and towels every day. Tea and coffee and milk fresh everyday. Staff very friendly and left u alone no sales pressure. Massive place. Highly recommend
