  Very nicevold style mansion converted to a hotel. USB connectors on mains plugs a nice touch. Hot water is fierce. Cosy and high ceilinged rooms. 5 min walk to York minster. Friendly staff

  We attended a Gin tasting Masterclass at the Grange Hotel. This was very well organised and a perfect venue. We enjoyed a delicious two course lunch before walking into the centre of York. We would definitely recommend the Grange Hotel.

  Very good location and good food served. Had a jazz night when we went and was very loud whilst eating. Rooms well decorated. Need to book parking in advance and is £10.

  Very elegant hotel in good central York location; interesting "straight line" walk to and from the station and railway museum with part alongside the railway and including footbridge across the river. Good service from all the staff, room well appointed and clean. Interesting history available regarding the origin of the establishment.
