  Wonderful place with clean rooms and upgraded baths. Large buffet breakfast has all you could want and everything was delicious. Very friendly, helpful staff and a great location.

  The rooms are quite comfortable, the location is the best (everything is walk distance), the concierge service is world class (ask for Luca, the polish guy, he is lovely and efficient). The breakfast is good but not superb. They could improve a little bit here I would definitely recommend this hotel.

  The George has always been one of our most favourite hotels. Great central location with the only drawback to that being the parking issue. Service is always good, but some bedrooms are better than others. It has at times felt like a bit of a lottery when it comes to what room you end up in. Some are excellent, some less so. Love the breakfast but have seldom eaten dinner in here. Too much choice in town I guess.

  Gorgeous hotel, love the style. Rooms very well done. Staff were great and very attentive. Only criticism is the interconnected rooms. We had to request a new room as we were connected at either side and the other guests were extremely noisy. Thankfully the reception staff gave us a room upgrade on the top floor which was lovely!

  Absolutely beautiful hotel! Hotel staff are extremely welcoming and willing to attend to our every need. We visited for Christmas so everywhere was decorated to put you in the festive mood. Hotel was very clean and tidy and in a prime location. Located in the New Town with all the high street shops made Christmas shopping easy, but if you had enough of the hustle and fancied something different, Old Town was just a short 5 minutes walk away. The staff made our short Christmas stay at this hotel magical and we are already planning to visit again next year.
