  Budget hotel, clean rooms with basic comfort and amenities. Good place to stay if you just want to lay your head somewhere affordable. Breakfast buffet cost £8 at the moment. Good selection of both continental and cooked breakfast. Bar open all day and night, friendly staff.

  I have stayed at Travelodge Birmingham when I was attending concert. It is at amazing location as it's only 5min walk from o2 Academy, pubs and restaurants. Room was very clean and had everything that you may need. There is a bar at the hotel which was very convienient for us to grab a quick drink before the gig. Room was great value for money, will be staying there again next time we visit Birmingham.

  In a good location to visit the city centre. Has an on site restaurant which provides a good breakfast. Staff were very nice. The only problem was we were woken up at 3am by bin lorries and vans unloading in the street at the side of the hotel (presumably for the indoor market nearby) - this continued all morning hence my 3 star rating. If I was to go again, I would make sure my room was on the opposite side if the hotel.

  Overall the stay was fantastic. We stayed the top floor and the room was more spacious than others we had stayed in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small bit to be expected, shower was hot and powerful so ideal. The staff and security were all friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for all you needs. Less then 10 minutes for New Street Station and close to and amazing range of restaurants and bars/pubs. Also the ideal location if you are visiting the O2 Academy or Institute.

  Stayed in one of the SuperRooms which is meant to be a step up from their standard offering. The shower was certainly better than normal. Not entirely sure about the coffee machine as the only instruction was how to use the coffee pod but not the creamer if you wanted it. The Bull Ring Travelodge is based right next door to a market which starts between 5 or 6 in the morning so be prepared for early morning noise. There is bar and restaurant on site and it's well placed for the Bull Ring shopping centre and restaurants. Customer service was absolutely fine but there are plenty of other options around to consider as well.
