  The bar took our order , 4 adults and 2 children. They then came out 15 minutes later to say they couldn't cook it due to fryer problems leaving me at 7.20 to walk 20 minutes home and cook my ravenous kids their food and leave me hanging on still for my takeaway. I feel the order shouldn't have been taken as they knew there were problems. They did refund and offer a half price meal next time however.

  A lovely local pub which serves great food, has an excellent enclosed garden with pub games and a weekly quiz. A brilliant mix of people from students to mature patrons & families all use this pub. Very good beers on tap too

  Great little pub. Good selection of beers & Sunday roast a knock out. Worth buying a house nearby so it would be your local.

  Food is tasty, but expensive and in small portions. The service is always bad, whenever I've been there. Usually the staff is hosting friends there that make lots of noise and are very unpleasant.

  Worthy of 5stars for so many reasons. This place has a great atmosphere. If your looking for a pint and a catch up, or a night with friends , The pub offers a great selection of Ales on tap, wide choice of spirits, some from local suppliers and friendly helpful bar staff. Then there's the entertainment and pool table for friendly battles. Kids can entertain them selves on the pirate ship playground or sneak onto the hammocks either way they won't get bored. And the food just tops the bill. The Sunday roasts are one of the finest in this Fine City. All in all a fantastic venue for all occasions .
