  Worst customer service I've ever experienced, none of the staff know what they're doing(expect one lovely woman) and the manager couldn't care less. Do not go to this branch.

  I really recommend this branch. We opened a joint account at this branch and the staff was very helpful and friendly, we were attended by Duncan, we thought that maybe he was new in the branch, but he was really helpful and capable. We are really satisfied with the service and also with the account condition.

  I have been a customer of the Bank of Scotland for a number of years and have been to many different branches. Nowhere are the staff more friendly and accommodating than at the Lawnmarket branch. Last time I was in I asked to speak to the manager to compliment her on how well treated I feel every time I come here. They are like a big friendly family always helpful and smiling. The branch is bright and spacious, there is comfortable seating by large bright windows and the place generally feels like a nice hotel lobby. All bank branches should be like this one. Feels silly writing such a positive review of a bank branch but it deserves it.
