::I visited this store on 31/12/16 with my family. My Son had purchased some clothing and I had tried on some trainers which were on sale at £54.99. I went to pay for them at the till only to be told they were £69.99. When I challenged the price I was told that's what the price is coming up at and did I want them. I said they were from the sale rack and had a big sale tag on them, when a young male shop person bounced over saying where's the tag?! Where's the tag!? Quite aggressive and making me out to be a liar, the trainer with the sale tag went walkies too??? I just wanted to get out of the shop.....I only wanted to purchase a pair of trainers at the price stated. Instead I was double disappointed with no trainers and had to be treated like I was a stupid liar by a young aggressive member of Footasylum staff. I was that annoyed I wrote a complaint as soon as I got home to their HO stating that the full episode will be available to view on the stores cctv. Got a reply back from a person called Holly who basically informed that Footasylum had every right not to sell me the trainers and that they can change the price whenever they want and have 24hours in which to change the price tag....no mention of Mr Aggressive shop assistant or honouring the price stated? I escalated complaint to another supervisor, Jared who seemed to want to get to the bottom of the extremely poor service but his last email was weeks ago saying the store was looking at cctv......I shan't hold my breath! Obviously I've given up hope waiting for a response. I have a decent household income and 5 boys from young to teenage who will not be spending one penny more in Footasylum, I've also bought the same trainers from the official Nike store for £48.99 and free delivery to my door. I will also review and share my very poor experience on as many sites as I possible.
