  Good accomodation great service and nice breakfast. Made the mistake of going next door for Sunday Lunch carvery style at the Toby's Carvery . Haven't seen eating like that since Tudor times. Disgusting.😖

  Been twice had ground floor first time which was superb. Booking system overrode my request for same so the stairs were a struggle but we were offered a hand with luggage. Nothing really to dislike apart from stairs! Pub next door which is very handy

  Personally got a double room. Room was nice and clean with everything that was needed. Got the option of picking pillows and provided essentials like combs for free (you have to call reception for these). It is slightly isolated however (with only a Toby Carvery next to it) but there is a very good retail park only 1-2 miles away. Breakfast is limited compared to other Holiday Inns but is free. Great experience.

  Very good price for a York hotel. Very close to Monk's Cross park and ride. Guy at the desk was absolutely lovely and helped me open the window when I couldn't work it out. Warm and great sense of humour. Check in quick and easy, my daughter was given a treat (I was asked first). Ground floor room 101 (honest) which was clean and comfortable. Had a really good night of sleep which is unusual for me. Lovely fresh and big range at breakfast. Overall an awesome stay.
