  It was OK. Bar was stocked and had OK pub food, restaurant had a good breakfast and staff were very nice. However, having been to competitors who offer more for less with better rooms was a little unexpected. Also having to ask for the WiFi code, rather than have it for free in your room was a bit disappointing. EV car charging arrangements were a bit ropey too, but at least they had a couple.

  Great location just off the M4 by the Celtic Manor resort. Rooms are fantastic with sky sports and extremely comfortable beds. Restaurant is good and the breakfast is very good as well.

  The staff there are great, they all ways do their best to help you out, no matter what it is. The food is just as good, and to me the price are not too bad. They have lovely big bedroom were you can have a good night sleep.

  Attended a function at the Holiday Inn, Newport. The location is ideal, just off the M4. Surrounded by trees, it felt more like a country hotel. Could not hear any noise from the motorway once inside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very clean. The bar area has the feel of an Alpine lodge and is a very comfortable to sit with a drink.
