::Open mainly grassed space bequeathed for college and school students to learn to do sport. Council owned. Current management tolerate residents to enjoy the space though old tennis courts often locked and heavy fencing has been put up. Dogs are now excluded fron some areas - but not cats. Gradually being built over using segregate then fence then hard surface sports/car park use then covered sports facility, finally classrooms/offices. Not good for wildlife. Enjoy while you can.
