  The Ashton branch are so nice and so helpful, I can defiantly they are the nicest people to sort out any problems that you may have. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. A Chapman.

  We, both our business and employees, were customers of the HSBC for some years. A while back we decided that we needed a merchant account and the HSBC told us that they could help. We set up our merchant account with them. All of their communication and products were branded HSBC. Soon things started to go wrong. The fees being charged were astronomical. We complained that what was being delivered was not what we were sold. At this point the bank completely washed their hands of the situation, informing us that the merchant services was not a part of their bank. Strange that the bank sold this service to us and it carries their branding. Following further failings in regard to account access and other trivia we, both our business and employees, have now washed our hands of their services. I hear that this is the World's local bank, so they won't give a damn about you or I it seems.

  A bit of a nightmare getting an appointment if you work and then the appointments run really late.
