  While attending a friend's 50th Birthday Party in Middleton Cheney myself, my husband and two teenage daughters stayed at Lexton House. This is my second stay here in 12 months and we will certainly be staying here again. Carmel is a wonderful host with a warm welcome, the rooms are superb, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice.I would highly recommend this friendly,homely accommodation.

  Lexton House is in the beautiful village of Middleton Cheney where I grew up. We booked into Lexton House this last weekend as we were attending a family celebration. We were offered a friendly welcome by Carmel (who is lovely) and shown to our room. Our room was on the top floor of the building. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom itself had plenty of light and the windows were open when we arrived adding to the freshness of the room. We walked through to the very large bathroom with a free-standing bath and plenty of towels. After a fantastic nights sleep we were treated to a MEGA breakfast - You could help yourself to Cereal, Fresh Ice Cold Milk, Orange Juice, an array of fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, jam and marmalade. After being asked how we'd like our eggs Carmel placed down a LOVELY cooked breakfast of Bacon, Sausage, Fried Eggs, Mushroom and Tomato - no sign of a Baked Bean (a bonus in my opinion). Lovely pot of tea and anything you wanted. Highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting. Carmel was chatty during breakfast but not intrusive. 10 out of 10. Thank you.   I had the pleasure of staying at Lexton House recently. The accommodation was first class, the rooms are simply lovely, and very beautifully decorated. It was so easy to find just a short drive off the M40, but very tranquil and peaceful. I would recommend this B&B to anyone needing accommodation in the Banbury and Oxfordshire area. It would make a great base to explore the county. A***
