::Been using this station for over 40 years now. A lot of money has been spent to modernise central and it's worked! The station is bright and clean. As you walk in there's a good shop well stocked with newspapers/magazines/fresh coffee. Ticket purchase is quick and hassle free. There's loads of monitors around with up to the minute train/platform info. The toilets are well kept and free! There's loads of security/guards dotted around so it feels safe and they are very helpful. Seating is available whilst you wait. No issues here 👍🏼

::Best station ever been to, staff great, shops great and tickets are great value; I've only had a handful of times where the trains have been cancelled or delayed and all were for valid reasons such as tree on the track unlike lime street which is guaranteed to be cancelled and late every day with ridiculously expensive tickets. Would recommend taking any merseyrail train any day of the year, reliable, comfortable and safe !

::Im in Rubens Coffee bar a new place at Central station in Liverpool great little stop off place whilst waiting for a train or after a journey before you set off to see the sites in the city it's in Ranleigh street and can take you to James Street on the underground railway

::Liverpool Central is a busy station with trains arriving from Southport, Ormskirk. Kirkby and Hunts Cross on the Northern Line. The Wirral Line also connects with Liverpool Central bringing trains in from Chester, Ellesmere Port, West Kirkby and New Brighton. Platforms can be accessed using lifts, escalators or stairways. The ticket office is combined with a shop selling hot and cold drinks and light snacks. Beyond the ticket barriers is the toilet block and separate facility for disabled travellers and a baby changing room.

::Good station but if going from northern to Wirral lines escalator is windyer than outside sometimes
