  I'm often down in York for work and hitting Pizza Express straight off the train has become a tradition for me. A really pleasant 5 minute walk along the walls and over the river. The restaurant is in a lovely location with great views. The staff are always charming and attentive and the service is quick. The American Hot with the roquito peppers is a firm favourite with a nice cold Peroni to wash it down. Pizza, large drink and a dessert normally comes in under my expenses limit which is always a plus!

  Stort og fint sted, navnet er misvisende - man tror at "Pizza Express" er et lille almindelig pizzeria, men det er stort og flot - maden er ok her

  The young waiter was help itself. Very friendly and very helpful. Frankly though I've had much better and much cheaper Pizza at a high street takeaway

  Fabulous building with great view out over the river if you are lucky. We had 2 adult and 2 kids meals and we all enjoyed them and service was great. Even when I paid with an E voucher it was no problem and the waiter dealt with it straight away. Real shame this was on a holiday trip visit otherwise we would be there more often

  The staff are always friendly and helpful. Especially with our many vouchers we use throughout our visits. I love choosing the specials on their pizza menu and trying something different. Plus if you ever get a cup of tea expect a lovely pot with plenty to drink for yourself
