  Not the greatest experience. Family with 2 children 4 & 2, directed upstairs when seating was available downstairs. Other family also sat downstairs. Good was mediocre and hygiene facilities could be far improved. My 4yr old slipped in the ladies as the floor was soaking due to 1/2 handryers not working.

  Valentine's set menu was absolutely lovely, staff could have been a little bit more attentive. Table had not been set properly and we were not warned that the meal would be the same price of £19.95 regardless of whether we had the full three courses or only two before paying. The food itself was very nice, I had the Mushroom Brindisi to start and the Lamb as a main. Could've done with a bit more gravy for the lamb as there was only a small amount in a tiny pot offered, but otherwise it was lovely.

  We don't live in the area but if we are in York this is our place to dine. Lovely food. Staff was always very friendly, helpful and attentive. Can't fault this place.

  This was the first time I've visited Zizzi and I went because of the great reviews and reports I'd read about their vegan offering. I couldn't have been more impressed, a good choice of starters. The pizza was a cacophony of great flavours and the chocolate praline torte was a little slice of heaven. Great service, great drinks selection (all wines are vegan except two I believe) and just a wonderful place for a quick lunch or a party for many.

  Great meal that I picked up from the restaurant as we we're using two gift vouchers from our wedding 💒 in August. Brilliant to be able to have take out from Zizzi. Really nice Prawn bites, lamb and duck mains and citrus dessert 🍰
