::As several people have said you go into this place and find a long queue with just 3 people serving. When you have bought your stamps they ask you if you want to buy insurance etc then look quite offended when you tell them no. It is a depressing experience.

::There was a lovely gentleman who was helping people out with parcels. Thanks to him the packing and sending on the spot were painless which could have been a daunting task, otherwise. Even let people use scissors, sellotape and some spare brown paper for packaging! God bless him!

::I have found the staff here to be really helpful especially when I am failing to work the self checkout machines. I never really seem to have to wait that long either.

::The only saving grace of this place is that it's a Crown office, meaning that there are certain services available which aren't available at local post offices. Whilst it isn't quite as bad as the service at the nearby Colliergate branch, it's still a fairly toxic experience. Why have 6 or 7 counters when only 2 or 3 are manned at any one time? Why don't the staff stagger their lunch hours so that there aren't massive queues? Granted, there are a couple of members of staff who seem genuinely willing to help, which isn't necessarily a bad thing given how many tourists use the place, but the rest of them need to be taught what customer service means. Or sacked.
