::The girl who served me should not be allowed to speak to the public, she was very rude and practically threw my change at me! The pastry on the pasties was too thick and indigestable and the filling was mainly potato! I definitely will not be returning!

::Not impressed. Had the steak and stilton pasty. The pastry was very good, the stilton flavor was well represented, the steak was hard to find. Basically a mashed potato filling with stilton and very little beef. Not bad, by any means, but certainly not one of the top pies I have had so far. The shops at the train station and shambles have them beat.

::Rubbish. This is not the original pasty shop, it is a new one with different owners. Poor choice, very expensive, very little flavour. I will happily go elsewhere in future.

::Free samples today drew us in, absolutely amazing food and lovely service!!! We were visiting York and when we are back, we will definitely be paying a visit to the Cornish Bakery!!

::Had 3 Cornish Pasties from 3 of Cornwall's Top Pasty Companies (Philps etc) but this one has too be the best! Absolutely indulgent pastry, tasty meat and fresh potato inside. Jacket Potato was large portions and very nice and Cheese & Onion Pasty was lovely. Restaurant itself is a little grubby but just an average Greasy Spoon. Staff friendly and prices quite reasonable. Will return!
