  A basic pub with a nice atmosphere . 2 friendly dogs were in the pub which I assume are residents

  Nice welcoming pub. But was hoping for food on a weekend afternoon. Good for a drink though.

  I can honestly say that this is the first pub in my lifetime that I've encountered an automatic ordering system. If Rachel spots me entering through the front door, by the time I reach the back bar she's poured a pint of pale ale (whatever's the palest on offer that night) without me asking. Brilliant service.
