Très bon Pub, nourriture, vins, bières , tout cela dans un cadre très agréable en extérieur ou à l'intérieur. Vraiment très agréable. Il faut réserver car l'endroit est très prisé.

Great service and good food, it is spacious which was great because we had our 2yo with us. The staff were lovely and the food is seasonal which we love too. Returning happy customers!

One of the best "Gastro Pubs" in the UK. Great food, dog & family friendly, open fire, table service from friendly staff and 2 beer gardens. Suitable for dinner or just drinks.

Dog friendly AND the best roast in town. What's not to love?? Despite having now moved out of London, we always make a beeline for The Red Lion and Sun whenever we're visiting, as their Sunday roast is head and shoulders above others we've tried (we're self-confessed roastie snobs). Quality ingredients, succulent beef, crispy potatoes, tasty yorkies and proper gravy. Every element on the plate is delicious, and although I feel the vegetable selection was somewhat sparse and underwhelming (green beans and a few carrot slices), it didn't take away from our enjoyment of the meal. Suggestion: perhaps some sexy cauliflower cheese would ramp it up a notch? The atmosphere is always buzzing (something we miss, now living in The New Forest), and staff are super friendly and attentive. Our dog is always made to feel welcome (even after a muddy walk on the heath), which is a big tick in our book as she comes everywhere with us. I can't recommend this pub highly enough. It's popular though, so booking is advised.
