  A friendly and bustling food/locals pub in central Warwick, whose kitchen output needs a bit of a rethink. We first came back in 2011 and thought it was great, but after a seven year period, things have kind of gone off the boil. This time we found the roasts passable but overpriced, and the service cheery but slow. Not very impressed at all with bits of the rest of the food, as the tartar sauce on the fish & chips had gone grey on top from sitting out in the kitchen for a few hours, and the "flat iron" chicken was no more than an unseasoned chicken breast with the skin on, fried on both sides. Not sure we'll be back again. 😟

  Had a fab weekend with friends at The Rose and Crown. Service and food were excellent. Accomodation was very good although if you are staying in the rooms located in the square the stairs leading up to our rooms were a bit of a challenge.

  The pub has a great ambience, great food and friendly staff. Our room was in the annexe on the market square so very quiet at night. Modern, comfortable bedroom, nice bathroom with a big walk-in shower

  Trendy pub in the middle of Warwick that is a bit expensive but serves decent food and drinks in comfortable bar and restaurant and has a good atmosphere.

  Simply fantastic service. The staff were amazing and couldn't do more to help. They were friendly and approachable. The room was nice and a good price too. Tea and coffee in the room, plus hot chocolate, biscuits and water. The only issue was the noise, being above the pub and lots of merriment of people leaving late at night.
