  I always liked the look of this place when driving North on the A1. Stopped for a lasagne with a side order of chips and it was excellent. Good food, good service and a nice environment. Top marks

  Comfortable and quaint hotel.Approx 500 yrs old. Interesting building.

  Friendly, helpful staff. Got free upgrade on room and they often have "room specials".

  Very comfortable bed and amazingly quiet at night. Very little noise from the A 1. Sadly, the meal I had was very disappointing. Overcooked burger, soggy chips and salad on a warm plate. Friendly, helpful receptionist/ waitress.
