::Great place for real ales always something different to try the food is great give it a try

::A real pub serving excellent real ales: particularly recommend the "Goldens Gold". Live entertainment most Saturday nights. Ale prices are competitive. Don't expect lavish complicated cocktails this is a proper pub not a yuppie gin palace.

::Flowerpot pub. Wonderful. Ale drinker's paradise.

::Cycled there from Portsmouth because it does really good beer. Locals pub I think judging by the custom but the menu looks very nice. Bit of pig to cycle to because of the busy roads but if I can work out an alternative route I'll definitely go back. Looks like there's loads of parking.

::Great little pub with a real 'old fashioned' feel about it. Welcoming staff and friendly locals. There is parking directly outside the property...but be aware...this requires that you reverse out onto a road with a bend, that restricts your vision and conversely that of any car using that road. Safer by far to use the car park opposite...but be careful walking across the road!!! No music, no TV sports, no tracksuit wearing hoards, just great beer and a lovely garden. Worth a visit.
