  Went for a private birthday party. The room was lovely, clean and nice decor. Prices for drinks fairly average.

  Nice warm welcome on arrival, nice warm atmosphere in the bar. Visited for a couple of pints of ale with a friend on a cold wintry night and glad we called in. Nice fire going as well adding to the warmth. It's a really old place with low beams, well decorated and furnished as well. Parking is a bit tight in the street but we found a spot not too far.

  Not stayed in the hotel only been to the bar and the bar is very friendly with a nice atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful and always up for a conversation. It's located in a very nice Village.

  I ordered the special pre-concert menu for £10. Pulled pork, mashed potato and mustard sauce. Very cosy pub and very busy on concert nights. Get there before the rush on concert days. (Before 5.30pm)!
