::This place is ok. Nice inside. All made from wood. We stayed in oak lodge which have a hottube. Hottube was old and owner didn't use any chemicals for water so on third day water was smell and impossible to use hottube any more. In double room mattress is old and very uncomfortable to sleep. Also it's was first place where we didn't get any soap or shower gel in the shower. Surprised me because this place have the hottube and can be nice to have something for shower. For this reasons I don't think we will go back to this place again. I think is little bit overpriced for what we can get there.

::4th visit and it never ceases to fail. Lovely lodge. Hot tub is simply gorgeous. And more than big enough for 4. Very private. York close by. Retail park very near however we just go and barely leave the hot tub. Simply love it

::Loved the peace and quiet in this secluded area. We found the working farm a real treat, the farmer Gordon let us go scrumping for as many apples and berries as we liked. The site wasn't neat and pruned like some sites but we found the whole experience a refreshing change. Ash lodge couldn't have been better value for money. We didn't pay luxury price so we didn't expect a dishwasher and washing machine but it was comfy, clean and was a perfect upgrade from our usual caravan. I loved the BBQ, my partner loved the comfy bed, the dog just loved the local walks and none of us wanted to leave. 4 out of 5 due to limited facilities on site but the best value we have found in a long time....we loved it.
