  Their attitude was brilliant ,made sure the car was completely roadworthy for the foreseeable future when i bought it and also delivered it to me ! friendly chaps, and felt in safe hands

  We bought a car from Lonsdale about a year ago. All was well for about 3 months then it started acting up. We contacted the garage and they were very helpful and fixed it. Around a week later more car trouble returned, so we took the car back to Lonsdale and they fixed it again. This happened around four times till it was decided it needed a new engine and they replaced it. fair play to them they were helpful, professional and finished the job.

  I don't recognise the experiences left by negative reviewers as I have experienced nothing but excellent service at reasonable prices from this business. I have purchased a number of vehicles from them over the years, my budget needing to stretch quite thin with my modest income and have always been taken good care of. I only have to ring up and they are ready to help straight away if something needs doing. I can thoroughly recommend anyone contemplating buying a used car, a repair, MoT or even a little scooter, to take a look at their web-site and visit their premises, where tea, coffee and a sympathetic ear is always at hand.

  I bought a used Volvo from this dealer for around £3250. It seemed OK on the surface, but I've had nothing but problems with it ever since. It's been constantly in and out of my local garage, with repair bills totaling another £1500+ Avoid these charlatans like the plague! They buy cars from auctions that other people want rid of for good reason, then sell them on to unsuspecting people like me. The three month warranty that you get with a second hand car doesn't even come close to covering you. The law needs to be changed to protect people from crooks like this.
