::I wanted to open a bank account for students while I'm studying here. One of the receptionist who helped me told me to get a letter from my university, but some days after that, when I finally got it, they told me that they couldn't open the account because my stay was for less than 6 months. So I lost an entire week because they couldn't tell me all the requirements the first time I came. The letter is addressed to the specific bank you're going to, so if I want to go to another bank the letter I have will be useless and I'll have to trow away more of my time requesting another one, all of this because the first day I came they were not able to tell me everything I would need or if there were any specific conditions, which would have been the logical thing to do.
