  Interesting artsy vibe, good selection of cakes and scones. Lovely oak beams in front shop.

  Very impressive, I'm only sorry it can't become my regular haunt as I was only a visitor to York! Inventive, often Middle Eastern-inspired lunch and brunch options, reasonably priced, with some incredible looking homemade cakes and scones. I ordered avocado and goats cheese on sourdough toast with smoked almonds, lemon and pea shoots, and it was just delightful. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely laid-back styling with vintage lamps etc available for purchase.

  One of my favourite places in York. Love the phenomenally tasty salads! The other food is fantastic too. Also very individual place with a lovely cozy and arty interior. It’s a family run business with a small team of friendly staff.

  Staff were lovely and very friendly. We loved the decor and overall feel of the place. Unfortunately my food was inedible but that was MY fault. My wife tried both our dishes and thought they were lovely. We will return but next time, I'll play safe with my choices.
