  Shifty hire I'd call them. After hiring a car for 6 weeks and doing over 3000 miles had a rtc. They accepted that it was not our fault but refused too give my partner another large car (3000 mile trouble free btw) we were paying for a Jaguar but they would only give her a good. The golf broke on a Sunday morning costing us a days work. They could not of been less helpful. So if you want humiliation and getting overcharged, shifty hire are the hire company for you. #They sorted things very well for us in the end. Changed too 4* would of been 5 if they had realised what they had done too my partner in the first instance and not after my questioning of the service she'd received. Fair play good cars at very competitive prices#

  I regularly hire from Thrifty, and they are excellent. Good price and fantastic people to deal with, ask for Ashley, he is a real gentleman. Also an added advantage is that their cars are mostly very nice compared to other companies. The only slight minus is that the paperwork always seems to take a little long! But overall five stars, really nice people.

  Haven't rented a car for several years and assumed that at 73 I'd have a problem - Not with Thrifty. Excellent prices, excellent vehicles, super service from Ashley at Swansea, a really personable guy who would be an asset to any rental company. Full marks Thrifty, five star all round.

  Excellent customer service from the guys at Thrifty. Second time I have hired and it is always a pleasure dealing with them. Only slight gripe I would have is the amount of time with all the paperwork but I understand these things must be done. The boys, Scott, the guy who's name I can't remember (only been there 3 weeks) and the area manager from Salisbury were very friendly, gave us a great deal and were a pleasure to meet. Highly recommended and we will be returning. Thanks again.
