First visit since renovation which had been finished to a real high standard. It has kept the old fashioned country pub feel, but has now been extended which means more tables and no more going outside for the bathroom. Food was sublime - really delicious. Absolutely will be back, loved it.

We visit this pub regularly while staying at the Lincoln Farm Park campsite. Warm friendly pub with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is varied but can be a bit hit-and-miss, and has gone downhill a bit in the last few years. Loos in a separate building outside takes a bit of getting used to.

While the main courses were very nice, I had the battered haddock, with four of us, deserts were disappointing one tart was burnt and sent back as another had short bread, the lighting was very dim and one side was burnt, staff brought back another, turned it over and burnt again, why not say all the biscuits are burnt and adjust the price, then while paying I said the second biscuit was burnt they took the £6:50 off but then the manageress came back and only £3:25 was taken off, hassle that was not needed. The ladies toilet do not have blinds, the room was too dark until someone wanted to use the loo, entertaining to start with but .....would go again with a touch.

Excellent pub near to Lincoln Farm Park camping site. It's a very short stroll from the campsite, is dog friendly and has outside seating. Beer is excellent with a few choices. Food was very good, around the £11 to £15 mark for main meals, and service good too. Although, on a Friday it can get busy and they could probably do with another member of staff to help cope.
