Friendly staff and awesome changing rooms. Showers needs renovation and pool area gets too busy.

Got 2 tickets for a massage here with Groupon- still wouldn't call it cheap at £99 but that was for 2 people and included a facial, back shoulders neck, and a scalp massage. The ladies were very knowledgeable, talkative and kind. First time I've ever been so didn't know what to expect but the nervousness went away very quickly as I was way too relaxed. Place is almost on the canal waterfront which was pretty, comes with access to their gym included, and money off dinner in a nice place just round the corner. Would definitely recommend.

Training good -few people (morning and early afternoon). But extremly lazy staff that sees no need in helping! I needed 30 minutes (!!!!!) to subscribe, having to use a crab computer system. The fact that I don't have a british phone number shouldn't have caused any difficulties with a little help of a staff member. But instead of just coming and doing the procedure together with me (would have taken them 3 minutes) the staff members let me contact them 7!!!!! times until I had subscribed. If I wouldn't have booked a personal training in there (NOT done by a staff member) I would have walked out of the door right away. I was so furious that at least my first training session was very successful... Think of it: You pay 54 Pounds / month. For such an amount of money you would expect some staff members to not only assist you by subscribing but walk around and give some workout suggestions to the customers. Instead you only see staff members in the gym when giving personal trainings. On the first sight this gym seems great, on the second only average. (therefore too expensive). The only convincing reason to chose this gym is the view of the canal while standing on the crosstrainer.

I think people these days complaint too much. Like just shut it and enjoy faculties at the end of the day you ain't a rich person to pay a lot so don't expect miracles and if you are then go for a better place don't join here :) It's a bit strange reading those reviews as I never had a bad experience there every time I come it's peaceful and quiet I almost feel like I'm in my own house. The new idea with wristband seems a bit sucks if you lose it but then don't lose it I keep mine with my house keys and That's something you don't lose everyday or now and then. I recommend it definitely, you lot who complaint need to see the bannayyne in priory Queensway in city centre - then you wouldn't compare

When I joined this gym was average, even though they gave it a fresh lick of paint it literary only covered up the cracks, They recently changed the entry procedure and introduced some crappy wrist bands because remembering your pin is to much these days, god forbid you forget your wrist band because you need to pay £2 to borrow one, they also changed the lockers so only your wristband can lock them, all this with out consulting members or informing them, so this stupid wrist band you need to carry with you all the time and in the showers, whilst training, even though I hate wearing stuff whilst I train. I didn't want or need this not what I paid for how about investing that money in better facility's, if that wasn't bad enough they changed the only decent thing about the gym which was the showers into some really poor heads that have no pressure and very little water flows out, completely ruined the showers after a hard session I use to look forward to a hot shower not anymore forced to walk home in my sweat. Will be looking at alternative gyms as to how they can justify charging premium prices for a gym that is now in my opinion not much different to puregym.
