  Nikki has got to be the best host looking after us and going out of her way to make sure we had an amazing stay. I would say this place is better than some 5 star hotels I have stayed in around the world! Best breakfast ever! Host just a hoot and very caring thank you xxx

  This is a great place to stay Host is really lovely nothing is to much trouble and very informative too. Breakfast is fabulous choice of full English,toast or cereal well worth it 😉

  About a 30 minute walk from the city centre, Bentham Lodge is a welcoming and friendly B&B run by a very accommodating landlady. The house is clean and well presented, the rooms are well appointed. Nicky the landlady is very knowledgeable about the local area and offers up plenty of advise about places to visit and restaurants to dine at. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of things on offer. We will most definitely visit Bentham Lodge again on out next trip to York.
