  I bought the most comfortable boots i have ever owned from here.My boots took me around the cliffs and beaches of Jersey when i completed The Channel Island Way in 2016,a wet week in the Gower Peninsula,and the coastline of the Isle of Wight,as well as a lot of sightseeing in between.7th nov 17.Ive just bought a new pair of boots and trainers for less than forty quid,and a pair of shorts for 7.Im going somewhere warm in a few days and this is where i prefer to shop for my walking,camping and climbing adventures.

  Much larger range of off the shelf bike parts than Halfords, wheels and tires pretty cheep too

  Really good comprehensive range of stock for all manner of sports and leisure activities. If you are a brand-slave and won't wear anything unless it's got your beloved three stripes or whatever ... forget it. But if you are a person who wants clothing, footwear, equipment that is well-designed and well-made at very decent prices, then go to Decathlon. Excellent enthusiastic staff who are happy to give advice and clearly interested in the stuff they're selling.

  The staff at Decathlon Southampton are very friendly, helpful and professional. I recently bought a new bike from them which unfortunately shipped with a major fault, and sourcing a replacement part proved impossible as said part was discontinued. However the mechanics in the bike workshop went above and beyond to rectify the fault, and the bike now works like new! I buy virtually all my cycling equipment from Decathlon as I find the range of products to be excellent, and the value for money is very good without compromising on quality too much. Thank you Decathlon. :)

  I was about to rate this store 1/5 because of what I experienced from the workshop manager attitude issues towards communicating with customers as well as ops manager's caring the least manners. But thanks to Joe and Luis for saving the day. Well done Joe and Luis, you guys are amazingly wonderful, friendly/professional all geared up to help customers. This shop is lucky to have you both. Keep it up! and thank you for helping me with all the shopping and bike maintenance matters.
