  I had just popped into our local Go Outdoors (at 1600hrs 24/Apr/18) to pick up some essentials for my overnight trip on Dartmoor this evening and was greeted at the till by an abrupt, rude and very unhelpful lady. I didn’t quite catch her name and wish I had but she was a taller/fuller women with jet black hair and eyebrows to match with a facial piercing. Was rude to me when I asked for Military discount and I felt she wasn’t doing the store any favours by being out front on the tills. It was actually a younger nicer lady (with a centre nose piercing) that was on our till serving us and kept on getting rudely interrupted by the aforementioned women. If she was to serve me again I would almost certainly turn away and find a store manager to serve (with me hoping she isn’t already a store manager) A very dissatisfied customer. Miss Haslam

  Love GoOutdoors Plymouth. The staff are always on hand to help and they're really knowledgeable in their own departments. It's great value for money and you can get a lot of really cool kit here. Sign up for newsletters and you'll get reminded of when they're having sales or additional discount weekends to save even more.

  Fab for purchasing big items like tents etc but all the other supplies are as expensive as elsewhere. They do an NHS discount if you bring your I'D. I believe the same goes for the services. The staff are helpfully and the tents are all erected so you can properly view them. Great tent bundle deals

  Excellent range of camping and outdoor gear from tents to torches, from fishing to running. Helpful staff and lots of tents set up so you know exactly what you're buying. Would advise the store card as it provides significant cheaper prices.

  Fantastic friendly staff, quick service & sell almost everything you need from tents to fishing gear. Well worth getting the discount card, easily make your money back. They also do millitary discount on top of the discount card. Well worth a visit have a nice selection of coats, foot wear & clothes.
