  coin-operated launderette. Here are the rates as of September 2017: 10kg load machine = £4. Next up 7kg = £3.50 & finally 5kg = £3. The wash cycles are just 30 minutes - so the quality of the wash is so-so. Dryers are 6 minutes for 50 pence. I bought my own washing powder from the supermarket next door. The launderette looks & feels like something from the 1970s - but there's not a lot of choice if you're a visitor to the area.

  Plenty of machines, most are modified to take new £1 coins as well. Big enough machines to do big loads or duvets etc.

  Actually, it's 3pounds a wash, I used a machine recently! Driers are 50p for 7and a half minutes! The guy that put 4pounds may have had a mountain of washing and used a bigger machine... Yes the dispenser drawers look filthy, as do the floors... I put liquid capsules inside the drum as the drawers are quite bad. However it's great to have a launderette as its a necessity :) No electric sockets to charge a phone though so no idea how they hoover, if ever lol :) The Indian guy in Tesco gets quite abrupt if you need change, even when I bought something he said no to 50p,s in my change, so best to go with change, the other people in Tesco are very nice about it though, hence I decided to do some shopping :) Cafe across the street are very nice, blue sage :) And it's open til 9pm now it says on the door, last wash 8pm :)

  4£ wash now, 1.20£ soap. Hang out at the cafe across the street while you wait, they're great.

  Basic coin laundromat. Great option for travelers who travel light.
